Facts & Questions
Question:
Is Satellite really better than cable?

Answer:
Honestly, cable has gotten somewhat better in the last few years, but satellite is still the overwhelming choice, particularly with DVR capabilities and HD content. Don't think that all these dishes on people's houses are there because they're pretty. There's a reason for it........... It's BETTER!

Question:
Can I get phone & internet with satellite?

Answer:
Internet.....yes phone.........no, at least not presently. In regards to internet, if it's available thru your phone or cable company, you'd be better off going with them unless you're in rural areas & then satellite internet is logical solution.

Question:
Can I get my local channels?

Answer:
In most cases, yes. Call us to see if your area qualifies for the local channels designated for your area.

Question:
Where will my dish go?

Answer:
Usually, we want to put them on the eave of the house and as close to where all your existing cable lines come into the house (provided that you have cable lines already pre-wired into the house). The focus is to "not" have to drill holes into the outside of the house in order to run our lines. We would prefer to use existing lines when we can. Our seasoned pros always perform a site survey prior to the installation.

Question:
I have alot of trees around my house. Will it work?

Answer:
Good question. We can probably find a spot somewhere to get a good line of sight. On rare occasions, it simply doesn't work. If that happens, you will not be on the hook for any committments and any monies you may have put out will
be credited back immediately.

Question:
If I sign up with you, how do I know you will ( A) actually follow thru and deliver & install my dish and (B) deliver on your service promise if I have a problem?

Answer:
We don't make a nickel until that dish is actually installed and you sign off on it. Not only that, we are still on the hook because both companies hold us accountable for a year. It is in our best interest to keep you happy. The whole idea of starting our company is to provide unheard of customer service long after the install is completed. We have been in thousands of homes for other companies over the years, and their biggest complaint is that they "HATE" dealing with outsourced customer service departments that don't understand what's really going on with their system and specific problems it's having. We have personally installed over 9,000 satellite systems and know the technical side very well. It's that kind of know-how you will want to tap into when you have a question or problem.

Question:
Can I put this in my apartment or condo?

Answer:
Depends on whether you own it or not. If you own a condo, the rule is you can put it "anywhere" on your private space. You may want to check with the HOA just to make sure where you can put it. ***Caution*** Don't let them bully you into thinking you can't put a dish up. The Federal Communications Commission says you can. If you rent your unit, you must get landlord permission first. This is not negotiable. Usually, the rules state that the dish "must" be located on your patio or balcony and cannot stick out over the edge. There are exceptions to every rule, so check with your landlord.

NOTE: Whatever the case, you must have southern open sky to have a clear line of sight ........ PERIOD! If your patio or balcony faces north, it could be trouble unless you get a long pole to extend over roof line. Of course, with permission. If you have any doubts, look around and see if your neighbors have a dish and note which way it's pointed.

Question:
How does the weather effect my dish?

Answer:
If it's installed properly and secure.......... weather should not be a problem. We have systems in Florida and in places like Oklahoma (high winds) and all across the country. Again, if it's secure and well installed, you should be ok.
